Terms & Conditions
Welcome to www.value-electrical.co.uk. To ensure maximum satisfactiont for all, we have created the following guidelines that apply to every aspect of our website. Your use of the www.value-electrical.co.uk website constitutes your agreement to abide by the following rules.
The following User Agreement ("Agreement") governs the use of www.value-electrical.co.uk ("Company" and "Vendor") site ("Site"). Please read the rules contained in this Agreement. You can access this agreement at various points throughout the Site. Your use of the Site will constitute your agreement to comply with the rules stated here in. If you cannot agree with these rules, please do not continue using the Site.
Links to other sites
As a convenience to you, we have provided links to other sites where we feel it is appropriate. Our decision to link to third party sites is not an endorsement of the content in the linked site. We are not responsible for the content of linked third-party sites, nor do we make any representations regarding the content or accuracy of material on third party sites. If you decide to access linked third-party sites, you do so at your own risk.
General
If you access the Materials outside the United Kingdom, you do so at your own risk and are responsible for compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction. This Agreement is governed by the internal and substantive laws of England and Wales without regard to its conflict of laws principles. No waiver of any term of this Agreement shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such terms or any other terms.
Contracts
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
Consumer Law
We agree to meet the obligations set out under the consumer protection laws currently in force including:
• the Sale of Goods Act 1979;
• the supply of Goods and Services Act 1982;
• the Consumer Credit Act 1974;
• the Trade Descriptions Act 1968;
• the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977 and the 1994 Regulations;
• the Consumer Protection Act. 1987; and
• the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.
Order Cancellations
You have the right to cancel your order at any time before delivery, free of charge.
You have the right to cancel your order within 7 working days after receiving your products without giving a reason providing the goods are in a resalable condition. The 7 working day cancellation period begins the day after receipt of those goods and you are required to notify us in writing within this time. We reserve the right to charge an administration fee of 15% to cover our costs.
You are however responsible for the safe return of the product to us, including the cost of doing so. We can obviously arrange this on your behalf at a cost equal to the original delivery cost, except where certain additional requirements are made, for which the additional cost will be advised & passed on.
If you have decided to cancel your order or wish to return your products to www.value-electrical.co.uk we will refund your payment within 30 days of cancellation.
Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be contrary to any law, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect as if said provision never existed provided that the contract is capable of continuing in existence without the unfair term.
Termination
www.value-electrical.co.uk and the Service Provider possess the right to terminate your ability to access the Site for any reason, without notice.
As a user, you are responsible for your own communications and are solely responsible for the consequences of their posting. You must not do the following: post material that is copyrighted, unless you are the owner or have express permission of the copyright owner, post material that reveals trade secrets, unless you own them or have express permission of the owner, post material that infringes on any other intellectual property rights of others or on the privacy or publicity rights of others, post any material that is obscene, defamatory, threatening, harassing, abusive, or embarrassing to another user or any person or entity, post a sexually explicit image, post advertisements, any posting that interrupts or runs contrary to the purpose of the Site, solicit for business without permission, post chain letters or pyramid schemes, post solicitations for charitable religious, social, or political organisations or impersonate another person. This list is not exhaustive of prohibited conduct. You must also obey the laws governing your jurisdiction. You acknowledge that any reliance on material posted by other users will be at your own risk.

The content of any posting by the user on the Site is created by the users, and the author of that communication is responsible for its consequences legal or otherwise. If notified by a user of the Site or a party effected by a posting which allegedly does not conform to the rules stated herein, www.value-electrical.co.uk and Service Provider reserve the right to investigate the allegation and determine in good faith and at our sole discretion whether to remove the communication. You can alert us of postings that do not comply with these rules by sending a detailed message here.
In the event that any legal action is taken because of a posting you create, you agree to defend, indemnify, hold harmless and pay any reasonable legal and accounting fees without limitation incurred by www.value-electrical.co.uk, its officers, directors, employees, Service Provider, its officers, directors, employees, and any third party implicated in an action.
Entire Agreement
All services provided to you by www.value-electrical.co.uk are subject to these terms together with any previous written or verbal representations given or made. Description of Goods
All the products we sell are of a technical nature and it is not practical to publish detailed specifications of all the products. All images, descriptive matter, specifications and advertising on our site are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the goods. Full detailed specifications are available from the manufacturer's brochures or their websites.
Payment and Price
The total price payable for the goods will be stipulated at the time when you place your order whether or not the order has been confirmed. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our supplier's prices, or the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error or omission the price published for the goods is wrong whether or not the order has been confirmed. We will inform you of the correct price and give you the opportunity to cancel the order. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. All prices on our website are inclusive of VAT but exclusive of delivery charges which will be payable as indicated at the time of placing your order.
Typographical Errors
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information from our suppliers, taxes or duty changes, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your credit card has already been charged and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the value of the incorrect price (including delivery charges).
Availability of Goods
All products and services are subject to availability and may be withdrawn at any time. If we do not supply the goods for any reason we will refund any money already paid for them. However, we will not be responsible for compensating you for any other losses you may suffer if we do not supply the goods.
Delivery
www.value-electrical.co.uk always endeavours to adhere to delivery estimates but they are unfortunately estimates and with the best will in the world and the most efficient systems, things sometimes do go wrong, very often outside of our control. Any dates we specify for the delivery of the goods are approximate only and we shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages, charges, or expenses caused by any delay for delivery of the goods and time is not of the essence.
Returns Policy for www.value-electrical.co.uk
At www.value-electrical.co.uk, we want you to be satisfied every time you shop with us. Occasionally however, we know that you may want to return items. To help you with this process please see our returns policy below.
Damage
In the unlikely event you should receive your goods damaged we will arrange a replacement item for you. It is your responsibility to notify us within 48 hours of receipt that an item has been received damaged (please see risk below).
Please check quantity of pieces delivered against the carrier’s paperwork and note shortages against the carrier’s documentation.
Risk
As soon as we have delivered the products to your door you, the customer, are responsible for them. We will only deliver goods to the address on the order and goods will not be left without a signature. From the time of receipted delivery of the goods, any loss or damage to the goods shall be at your own risk. Any transit damage to the goods, shortages or incorrect goods supplied must be noted on the delivery consignment note at the time of delivery.
Incorrect/ Non delivery
To notify www.value-electrical.co.uk of any incorrect or non-delivery of product(s) please use the Contact Us form on the site. If you receive incorrect goods it is your responsibility to notify us within 48 hours of receipt at which point we will make the necessary arrangements.
We can only accept liability for non-deliveries if we are notified within 2 days of the advised/anticipated delivery date.
Faulty
In the unlikely event that your goods are faulty on delivery, please contact our us via the Contact Us form on site within 48 hours of receipt of goods or fault developing.
The process differs greatly from product to product and we will either arrange a collection and replace the item or advise the contact details of the manufacturer if they make their own arrangements.
If we arrange collection, please be aware you are responsible for ensuring the product is suitably packaged for return. The goods must be returned in the original packaging. We recommend the original packaging be kept for no less than three months in case of a fault developing or any other transit requirements you might have.
The product must be returned complete with all parts; such as speakers, leads/cables, remote controls, batteries, stands, manuals etc. Failure to do so will delay the processing of your return and incur a cost to you.
The cost of any damage caused due to insufficient packaging will be charged to you. This charge will be at least 15% of the purchase value.
Once the goods are received back in our depot the fault will be verified and if we agree the fault, a replacement product will be sent out to you.
This does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse, for which there will be no refund or exchange.
After 28 days of receipt:
Should a fault develop after 28 days of receipt please contact the manufacturer directly in the first instance as the majority of which are happy to deal with customers and resolve any faults or problems over the phone or via a service engineer visit.
